ECMI Kosovo released “Enhancing Inclusive Education For All In Kosovo” policy research paper

ECMI Kosovo within ERAC project through this policy research takes stock of the situation providing an in-depth analysis of the adopted strategy to address the issue of drops outs and non-abandonments of children in schools. A detailed description and evaluation of the field action carried out by the Teams for the Prevention and Response towards Abandonment and Non-Registration (PRTAN) for the implementation of the Early Warning System (EWS) is examined. This is based on over 10 years of experience that ECMI Kosovo with UNICEF Kosovo have undertaken in supporting the development and implementation of this important mechanism. The final recommendations are intended to enhance the capacity development of School and Municipal PRTANs for the institutionalization of sustainable solutions and implementation of Action Plans. For the sake of accuracy, the research covers only the Kosovo educational system supervised by MEST and does not take under consideration the rate of participation in the Serbian language educational system.
